Own TFA's board-level funding and partnerships, and chair the Development and Partnerships Committee.
The need
As TFA relaunches and shifts from board dues toward corporate and institutional funding, the board needs one director who owns the funding agenda end to end.
What you will do
- Chair a small Development and Partnerships Committee
- Shape the funding plan and govern the donor pipeline
- Activate board and advisor networks for introductions
- Set donor stewardship and reporting discipline
Who we are looking for
- Prior board or board-committee experience
- Demonstrated fundraising ownership, not just support
- A real, substantive commitment to Africa
- Comfort with cross-border, governance-versus-operations discipline
